great models and the best work I've seen in this scale. Excellent attention to detail given the small scale you have to work with and a credit to you.

Just received the following Matchbox vehicles that I had sent in for restoration to Jim's Matchbox Restorations: 1) Trolley Bus, 2) Milk Truck, 3) Pickfords Moving Van, 4) Glasgow Bus, and 5) Rent-A-Set Television Repair Truck. Also obtained three restored vehicles that this service had obtained for me: 1) Mobile Canteen Refreshment Stand, 2) Coca-Cola Truck, 3) Tank Transporter and Centurion Mark III Tank. The vehicles that I had sent in were from my collection that had started more than 50 years ago. They are perhaps in even better condition now than they were new as Jim is very careful to apply decals in a precise manner (not crooked as they occasionally were applied by the Matchbox Lesney Company back in the day). It is especially great to see the Trolley Bus, Pickfords Moving Van, and Rent-A-Set Television Truck brought back to their former glory. Thanks for an amazingly professional and superb restoration. It takes me back many years to my youth. All of the Matchbox vehicles are similarly excellent. Thanks Jim's Matchbox Restorations!

I've had a Lesney Matchbox Ford Galaxy in my family for many decades, it belonged to my dad. Over the years it was obviously well played it and it's condition left a lot to be desired.
I contacted Jim and he was quick to respond. He was very prompt and accurate with his estimate and very understanding when I had to delay it from my side.
The car was restored in a jiffy, it honestly felt like just a few hours!
I had a lot of issues with the postal department when the car was on it's way back and Jim never gave up on helping. He was always supportive.
The car is now fully restored and I am absolutely thrilled. The car is now the centre-piece of my collection.
I thoroughly recommend Jim. His work is fantastic. I actually cannot put it down in words. But his work is just top class.

I have just bought one of Jims restored models, a Matchbox Austin A50. It was a nostalgia trip as I remembered having one of these as a boy. On opening the carefully wrapped parcel I was immediately
transported back to 1960 or thereabout. The quality of work is impressive and I shall certainly be following this website for future models. -
